ancient rock cut graves at Heysham Head near Morecambe, Lancashire. Believed to be well over 1000 years old. This area has shown evidence of settlement from the time of the hunter gatherers of 12,000 years ago and houses relics from Anglian and Viking occupation as well as from centuries since.
Trying to convey the atmosphere and mystery of this spot but just can't seem to do it justice!
