New SIngle Speed

I made this out of a Sears Free Spirit 10 Speed 26 inch Bike from the mid 80's. (Garbage Picked)

The wheels are 27 inch (Garbage Picked)

I ground off all the braze on stuff and took apart the cassette and just welded the sprocket to the rear hub to get the fixed gear deal.

took me 3 hours =/- and cost me a cool $4.00 for the rattlecan silver.

      It rides real nice.

      Stiff, quick steering.

25.6 mph is my max speed so far with average around 11.5 MPH.

This is my first skinny tire bike since high school. Everything else had been Mountain Bikes.

Nice with the skinny tires. I am used to the fixed gear and rather like it.
