MGA Flush Valance Mounting

I spaced the front valance panel out 1 inch to be flush with the cowling.

Good job, how long have you been working on this project? the floor pans looked like thay would have taken some time to get right.

      Thanks Pieter,

I have had the car for four years now.

I have been working on it since Sept. 2005 after I stopped traveling for work.

The floors were rather easy. I made heavy paper templates that fit into the rails. Where I was shy material I added duct tape. Traced on board with a sharpie.
Then cut them out with a jig saw using a Hollow Ground reverse tooth blade.

I still have to use a router on the bottoms as the wood I chose is thicker than the stock plywood.
This will alow them to sit lower on the frame rails.

I will be adding a little bit of everything done to this car as it progresses.

Does this thing have an oil cooler/radiator installed? Just curious.

I have the cooler (13 row) from the BGT that will be installed in the valance. I am fabricating an aluminum tunnel for better air flow that will isolate it from the water radiator as well.

I have this real neat oil filter housing that uses spin on filters as well. This way I will get better filtration and flow.

Yes, the spin on adapter is definitely the way to go.
