magpies everywhere
the kids and i watched magpies all over the beach yesterday, then came home to realize its audubon's bird of the month.

i've been seeing so many birds around here again, particularly magpies... which I don't generally notice up here. they've been flying in big flocks (flocks? gaggles? herds?) over the water. they're so pretty.
