Anthony was feeling a bit down yesterday because B'More lost to New England. Have a brownie, Tony. Chocolate always makes things better. As for the superbowl, we will be routing for the New York Giants. It has nothing to do with us wanting them to win, we just want the Patriots to LOSE!! Oh yeahhh, when it comes to my baby's beloved Ravens, we are spiteful like that.

Sidebar: I say this because the Chargers are out. If they were still in contention then our alliance would not be so intact ;-)

I have always loved the beach. The smell of the salty water, the wind in my face, the gentle roar of the waves all combine to create a sense of peace and calm. ~~Unknown

Mr. A's

Mr. A's

A view from Mr. A's near downtown. We were having dinner on the patio when the clouds started creeping in. Luckily we were nearly done when it started to drizzle so there was no need to ask to be moved inside. I wanted to take this picture but since I didn’t bring my tripod I had to balance my camera on the rails. It made me a bit nervous because I am the type that is clumsy enough to knock my own camera over the edge of the building. There were also some other people walking around but at least they were nice enough to keep their distance from me while I was taking this shot.

Found this in one of my jumpdrives from 2009 (came from the DC area to visit home for the holidays).

Last Friday we got some really awesome waves. I didn't go in the water but it was nice to look at and it felt good to breath in some fresh salt air. Nice day to start off the weekend, too. Sometimes I forget we are still in the winter season.

As for the pictures under comments, this section is known as the Children's Pool (not sure why because it's connected directly to the ocean). Those objects laying on the sand are not giant slugs, they're seals :-)
