On a train - Sri Lanka

This woman is a survivor from the 26th December 2004 tsunami. No one from her family could survive from this natural disaster. To save her own life she run through broken glasses and all sorts of garbage and get her feet deeply injured. As there was no time or conditions in the hospital to do better at the time, they got to ampute all fingers with no anesthesics. I took this photo while she was telling her story.
