Sky Harbor sunrise
I took my camera to work with me this morning, and am I glad I did so! I was treated to this sunrise while riding the bus to downtown Phoenix, and I took several pictures of it as the bus passed Sky Harbor Airport. In this one, I managed to capture a jet moments before it landed. Because the bus was moving, I didn't dare set a shutter speed lower than 1/60 of a second, but I need not have worried, as this image turned out just fine. This, by the way, is one of the fringe benefits of public transportation, at least for photographers. :-)

I was really lucky to be able to capture this from a bus moving at about 55 mph, and in a low-light situation as well!
