How Rare A Possession
My Italian edition of the Book of Mormon, opened to one of my favorite passages, part of which, unfortunately, does not appear in the picture. But this was part of the day's experimentation with my new digital camera, the first one I have ever owned or used. From you, my tutors, comments are always welcome.
I color-code my scriptures, and use red, the color of blood, to mark or highlight passages about Christ and the Atonement. Hence, the colored pencil.

This week, we just got a copy of the Mongolian translation of the Book of Mormon for my son, who reports to the Mongolia Ulaanbaatar mission in November. I'll try a taking a photo of it today.

I'll want to see that. Also, please recommend to him that he read the Book of Mormon in Mongolian during his mission. One of the minor regrets about my own mission is that I did not read it in Spanish during those two years. (I have done so many times since, but that was later.) I somehow had the notion that it could not be as good in Spanish as it was in English, but the Spirit speaks all languages fluently, and can communicate just as well in one as in another.
I have read the Book of Mormon nearly 70 times myself, and I think the time I enjoyed it the most was the first time I read it in Italian, which was about six years ago. (In fact, by now I have read all the Standard Works in all three of my languages.)
