Photograph by Blanche de Lovière for a photogravure in "The Mentor," May 1926.
Roland Hayes (3 June 1887–1 January 1977), a lyric tenor, is
considered the first African American male concert artist to receive
wide international acclaim as well as at home.
I couldn't find anything about the photographer, except that she took the portrait in London and that Hayes was a friend of her husband, who had many musician friends, according to "The Mentor."
