Triborough Bridge

...I think it gets it name from because it connects three bourghs of NYC: Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn. I took this from a park in Astoria, Queens. There was a full moon when I took this, and that is a plus for night shots...

 

...I took this with my new wide angle lense at 10mm. Note the distorsions on the railings and path close to the camera, but overall I really like this...

CORRECTION: (as JS300 says): "the triborough bridge has three branches connecting manhattan, queens, and the bronx (not brooklyn). ;) "

 

...so that is probably where the 'tri' comes from. As for the spelling, they seem to spell it in different ways. Either 'Triboro' or 'triborough', but triborough seems to be the correct one.
