I ran my first 10K race on Sunday. It was one of my goals for 2012 and I worked hard for it. I'm happy with my time and looking forward to training for a half marathon now. But I need this reminder when it comes to other goals: don't lose sight of them. Remember what you really want...

This is a hard pic to post, but it's time to say goodbye (or at least see you later) to the 365 project. I've enjoyed almost every minute of taking daily pics for the last four years. I've learned so much and made great Flickr friends. The time has come to bow out. Competing priorities have made it too difficult to shoot every day, but I'll still be around.

Thanks to all of you who've been there from the beginning and those who've joined along the way. I'm grateful for your comments, suggestions, advice, and most of all, friendship. See you in the stream....

It's that time again - time for the annual Father-Daughter girl scout dance. The girls had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the photobooth pics this year! The theme was Amazon Rainforest and the patches are adorable. :)
