In California heels, among Oak tres...

Well these are not pine trees, but I love this poem so I put it here anyways :)

Right along the phone lines
right outside the village, two trees grew

For many years the passers-by
viewed them as two friends

One Autumn day
under the thunder and wind whips

One of the trees trembled
Bent down and leaned on the other

Said to the other tree, forgive me friend
think about my situation

My roots are outside the ground
Now bear with me a few days

Tree said to the neighbor with rigor
You bother me and I hate you

Get off me!
How can I tolerate you?

Then shook the poor tree off
His ruthless and pitiless friend

The phone lines broke and the tree fell
as he laid on the grown

People couldn't use the phone lines
They came to do some investigation

After fixing the phone lines
They thought of a way to avoid this from happening again

Which means, they also cut down
the other cruel tree.
