There are certainly a lot of ugly problems in the world due to a lack of water.
Here I thought that water could solve a few issues ;-)

St. Elisabeth's Church 1

St. Elisabeth's Church 1

Marburg
Germany

HDR
Canon with a Sigma 10-20 mm.

St. Elisabeth's Church is a religious building in Marburg, Germany, built by the Order of the Teutonic Knights in honour of Elisabeth of Hungary. Her tomb made the church an important pilgrimage destination in the late Middle Ages.
Construction started in 1235, the year Elisabeth was canonized. The church was consecrated in 1283. However, the towers were not finished until 1340.

Every HDR fan should have some church interiors images.
Thus, today was my day to do them.
I only have two reasons to go to a church.
Photography and the almost meditative calm. ;-)
The church itself was rather dark inside. It felt more like night photography, as the exposures took quite a long time ;-)
I was afraid I would get a lot of digital noise, but my little Canon 1000 D did quite well, I think.
The color temperature was set in Photomatix, after that I took the tiff file into Photoshop to apply a gentle denoiser, to keep the little details.
In the LAB modus I made a lumi mask to apply a rather high value of 2 pass USM.
That's about it really.

I hope you like them as much as I do ;-)
