      very funny - let's not talk about that LoL. yes, cilantro is the leaf of the coriander plant - what I meant was "if you like it" (which, I don't. I always use italian flat leaf parsley instead).

      i add red chilli flakes to my soba shoyu too. but i like my soba cold. hee.

      i love the mirror effect too =) great colour palette with the high contrast between the bowls and the tablecloth.

      very nice composition here. the cool toned/monochromatic background--including those great water glasses--really helps the black bowls and their contents pop! maybe we're divining one another, because i just shot some japanese bowls/food yesterday.... :) the food looks quite pleasant, and sounds delicious. ahem, great news with those chopsticks, they're lovely.

      There's a widely held theory that some people have an enzyme that makes cilantro taste like soap. I, thankfully, don't have that enzyme. :)
