      some more infos: mono lake is a geological curiosity also because it's calcareous sinters, which has been explored when people channelled the water from the lake to irrigation. (i hope i remember right from my studies :) )
      anyway: this is a really nice pic, congrat!

      Fantastic! You can clearly see some of the Pleistocene ice age shorelines around the lake, dating back 20,000-50,000 years (and longer).
