Such a delicate design for a sturdy looking chair. The light and refection are wonderful.

The surface of the chair is like a mirror.. a work of gorgeous art. I love your architectural minimalism, Hans. Incredible piece.

A winner! Wonderful Hans! All the elements of a great photo- Black and white, elegant simple designer chair, pleasant lighting, nice linear patterning, good composition! I like this 1600 film. You mentioned it in your other shot too. Is it an extremely sensitive film? Having a point and shoot digital means I really know little about photography! :-)

Lovely. It looks like a very delicate chair, though. Dare you sit on it?!

    15. hans.soderstrom (51 months ago | reply)

      Thanks very much Wendy!
1600 is quite sensitive and suitable for handheld photography indoors, but still not extreme: it's two stops faster than 400 which is commonly considered allround. For this shot I could well have managed with slower film though.

Thanks Christopher! The backlight makes it look a little bit more delicate than it is; it's really a very robust chair for any one to sit on or stand upon :-)

Nice composition of showing the chair's dark silhouette on the foreground, indoors while a blurred image of another chair peeks from the outside through the glass door. An excellent contrast!

I remember one day going to an Ikea shop, sat on a bed and... Broke the bed... Are you sure this chair is solid enough because it has such an aerial design...

lovely lovely chair. same for the light on it, and this photograph.

I'm sure Guillaume. It's true craftsmanship, not from IKEA ;-) I don't want to bash IKEA, but not all their products are made to last.

      Thanks Ansel!

Thank you John. I do have a thing for chairs :-)

      Thank you kindly Chris.

Classic "pinnastol" - nice looking and after about two hours your butt is numb. Great light in this one.
