Anti War Protest

This occurred in Huntsville, Alabama on January 27, 2007. There were approximately 90 people expressing their displeasure with the ongoing war in Iraq. What really surprised and amazed me was the amount of support shown by the people driving by. This demonstration happened on the corner of Whitesburg Drive and Airport Road-a major intersection and only lasted for around an hour or an hour and a half.

There was one counter protester, shown here talking with a police officer, but there were no confrontations of any sort and the anti-war protesters were very solicitious of this lone person's voice!
