1950s GE Wall Refigerator

    Newer Older

Wall mounted refrigerator in an untouched vintage kitchen. Seen July 2008, in a house that was for auction in Excelsior Springs, MO. It's sure to be ripped out and replaced. The two doors on the left are refrigerator and the door on the right is the freezer. All the mechanical stuff is on top with the heat escaping the right side vent. I did some searching and it seems like these ARE as heavy as you may imagine. They were made from roughly 1955-1960.

My other shot of this unit is here with the freezer door open... www.flickr.com/photos/8492055@N08/2844162758/in/photostream/
