A picture taken in a corner in Dresden with some restaurants around. The little sparrows were very well trained to linger around human feet. One crumb or the other has always been dropped.

I have been busy the last months and will be so in the next ones. I have no real time to comment on other pictures. I am sorry about this.

My grandfather who passed away 5 years ago. Now I came across his collection of positives. Hidden treasures of photography. It was his hobby. And he was good at it!

This is a picture that took my breath away after seeing it. He took it in India during his business trips in the 1960's.

The other day I went to Weimar, Germany. It's a city full of history, there are Goethe's and Schiller' houses. But also ,there's a magnificient park just next to the city centre (Park an der Ilm). That afternoon the sun came in beautifully to illuminate only those spots on the other side of the tree since the closer site was already quite shadowy. Lucky enough there was someone reading under a tree :-)

I saw this leaf in my neighborhood when I went to the post office today. After returning home I grabbed my stuff and went out to search this leaf again. And yes, it was still hanging there - trapped in a vegetarian spiders web.
