Top Part of the Astronomy Clock

Top Part of the Astronomy Clock by unforth.
The top clock face shows the time three different ways - the golden hand, which indicates Roman numerals between I an XII, shows the local (Central European) time. The same hand indicates Gothic numbers from 1 to 24, which represent Old Bohemian Time, a system by which day time is divided into 24 hours and hour 24 indicates sunset. Finally, the numbers 1 to 12 are written beneath the Roman Numerals indicate Babylonian Time and are pointed at by the Golden Sun, and divide the day into 12 hours of daylight, and the length of an hour is variable. Seriously.

The clock is flanked by four evils (from left to right): vanity, greed, death, and heretics, in the form of a dude looking in a mirror, a guy holding a bag of money who looks suspiciously Jewish, a skeleton with a lamp, and a suspiciously Turkish fellow in a funny hat.
