Explore at #500, 26 May for the day of 23 May 2008. Two Versions: Barn with the Wellsville Mountains as a backdrop. An experiment in cropping and in panoramas. I am interested in your opinions and assessments about these two versions. Taken near Cove, Utah, May 2008, Nikon D300.

I like the Panorama version.. I think this is better but the other one is not bad too.. I like both anyway..

Oh, I like this. Fabulous panorama, perfect comp. Love that barn on the left, the gentle slope, and those magnificent mountains in the back. This one is very much my favorite of the two. Wow!

Definitely the panorama.
Do you live near Wellsville? My best friend moved from there a year ago, but her family still lives there, and they're LDS too. Maybe you know them!

I can see you've got into this cropping lark now :-) This works really well.

Beautiful panorama! I love the barn placement and the horizontal format. Fantastic.

Both are excellent shots but I think the panorama is a better balance!

I would totally say this one is better... They're both cool pictures, but cutting out all the plain green makes it quite a bit better I think.

I believe the mountains pop in the panoramic view and kinda get lost in the first picture in the sea of green. I do like the thought of foreground and background tho - my choice would be the panoramic photo.
