Christmas Morning

    Newer Older

It snowed 6-8 inches Christmas Eve and we enjoyed beautiful blue skies on Christmas day. My wife gave me a great new Manfrotto tripod with a wonderful joystick ball head. So, after the morning festivities I went out to practice with my new toy and found this wonderful scene. I can already see that the tripod has helped with shot clarity and composition. Yeah!

oh these snow shots are stupendous! It is so beautiful when like that... and then it goes and melts and gets icky! I am just trying to learn to use a tripod, but mostly not much yet... so it really makes a big diff on shots like this? Hmmm...
