      I can't keep up with all the trendy new places springing up in the alcoves of NE! Particularly the coffee shops, art places and hole-in-the-wall cafes--good ol' Portland, constantly re-inventing itself.

      shintao, i am turkish but have been in the usa since i was very very young. i have my ties to turkey and get over there as often as i can, these days. thank you for your observation of my photos.

      darius, this is an antique shop that must have opened recently, i hadn't noticed it before. it was closed on sunday, when i saw it. i am hoping to go back and explore it. i love the way the outside was designed. the plants, i believe that is wisteria, i hope i can catch it when it starts to bloosom. it will be wonderful.

      picma, there is a mediterranean restaurant next door to it, called olive. i haven't tried it out yet, but hope to do sometime soon.
