The second floor of the Rod and Gun Club in Everglades City still awaits for its renovation to be completed. The rest of the hotel is really quite a nice place and is a must-see if you are in the Everglades.

The 24/7 cafe at the Lalit in New Delhi was better than the average hotel coffee shop. My stay at the hotel was truncated by one night (thanks to Delta Air Lines), but I did have breakfast here.

The station in Pomona as the Texas Eagle/Sunset Limited stopped briefly. It really was baking in the heat of a late afternoon. Interestingly, the station dates only from 1940, but it is still an attractive example of the Mission Revival style and was in very good repair, though it is no longer staffed.
