So my good (and amazing) photographer friend Brandon Bartee and I were sitting around this afternoon talking shop and decided that he needed a profile photo showcasing his new haircut. We set up some lights and started snapping away. Its always funny interacting with another photographer about shooting. I felt weird at times because most of the stuff I was doing i knew he was thinking “Why doesn’t he just do this?”. But all in all we had a good time, and came away with a few awesome shots.

I have been wanting to do something different for awhile. My design work has been my main focal point as of late and i feel like my photography has been slacking. And the shots that i have taken are the “safe” family and more traditional pictures. This gave me a chance to let loose and really attempt something different. I LOVE working with flares, and this one turned out awesome! So stoked about it.

Be sure to check out Brandon’s amazing photography portfolio and blog at www.brandonbartee.com He is doing awesome things!

Check out the post on my site here: bryanminear.com/?p=110
