R.F.A. FORT GEORGE ~WATER WASH.

R.F.A. FORT GEORGE ~WATER WASH.

As H.M.S. Liverpool calls into our city for the last time...I recall other great vessels ( like Fort George ) which are being de-commissioned...ok,scrapped..and I wonder why the powers that be are not bringing more of these icons to our waterfront as permanent displays, educational facilities, museum pieces, etc.
The Thames has H.M.S. Belfast...we need more vessels like this to maximise the drawing power of the Albert Dock and surroundfing maritime facilities.Over to you,Liverpool City Council...

THE INVENTOR OF FOOTBALL GOAL NETS!

WELL DONE KING KENNY.

WELL DONE KING KENNY.

All credit to Cardiff...that's what football is all about..I never saw the game, but was told how well Cardiff done.Reminds me of us when Shanks was making us what we became...but there can only be one winner...and it's us !!!
The other problem is that when you play underdogs, you don't get credit for winning...and that doesn't matter whatever you do.
One winner in any game.

MANDY ~ THE TART WITH A HEART. Please hit L on your keyboard....

While visiting Ellesmere Port Boat Museum, I was introduced to the lovely Mandy...she was helping with a charity collection...and I found her to be a very accomodating hostess : Her collecting bag was particularly engaging...sure I recognise the face on the bag...
Anyway,it seems that she received at least £475 in donations on the day..and three proposals of marriage.
