These camera things are funny - there is basically so much quality today in the small ones that like you made your choice manual control possibilities make a lot and the feel....
My last B&W series is a good example of having a camera always with you on a walk....

I totally agree about the value of keeping a compact camera with you (at all times if possible).
In addition to image quality, virtues I like are a fast speed of operation and having a reasonably good chance of the focus coinciding with the subject matter :-)

I love the texture of the elements here!
And I agree with above.. even if I have my new SLR, I never leave the pocket camera home.. it's handy because it's ALWAYS with you everywhere and anywhere you go! :D
