The Baby Boy Nursery

The Nursery during daylight. It really is that blue.
A nursery fitting for a new baby boy.

This was a Nursery on a budget.

For example, the white letters of his name.
If go to Pottery Barn, expect to pay close to $20 a letter.
We went to Michael's and paid around $2-3. The paint was from Home Depot and Michaels. We bought 2 oz bottles for the various colors.
The artwork was traced into the wall. Ikea had a lot of nautical themed toys so it worked out for us.

This not only looks good but it's also developmentally appropriate. If parents want their kids to be in a stimulating enironment, they are making big mistakes when they paint their baby's room in soft, pastel colors. Babies are born with poor vision; they only colors they are born seeing are red, black, and white. They can later see primary colors, and then a whole range of colors. So this room is spot on!
