One last layout attempt...
Hahahaha, I've rearranged my living room so many times, I can't believe it! I woke up with this idea in mind, so I thought I'd try it. It was cute for about 5 minutes for me to take the photo, then I ripped it apart. Although, I did sit in that striped chair to catch my breath and had a lovely view out my door. The windchimes were swaying, it was lovely.

Wow, what a difference! You're making so much progress!
And I just realized that I have that same Vizio in my office at work. I just turned my head and was like "huh, that's krpm1's TV."

This setup kind of appeals to me! What did you change it to be instead? Did you finally settle on a floorplan?

Sparkle-you have the same tv at work? Nice! However, my speakers are going bad, so I have to get it replaced. I've only had it since Feb! Crazy!
Yeah, I liked this too, but it made the room feel very small and the chair was slightly blocking the kitchen doorway. I finally settled on the photo I posted of my bookcases in the left corner and tv in the center. I might eventually replace the tv unit because it sticks out quite a bit and I just need enough room for the tv and components.
My wish is to aquire a small piece to place on the right side of the tv unit as my landing strip, put that lamp and a mirror for last looks before heading out. But as you can see, that door really eats up precious real estate if I want to open it that wide. Did you see Jesse's entry, the guy that won the Fall Color contest? That's what I'm going for by the door...
I'm still trying to figure it all out. I want to paint that wall the same color I painted my bathroom. That wall actually isn't white, it's a very pale pinky chocolate color that was supposed to compliment the light chocolate color on the opposite wall where my bed is. Didn't quite work like I wanted last year. I need to go with deeper color for some drama. And I have that other paint just sitting under the cabinet, why not use it up?
I'll keep you guys posted!
Ya know, I work in Beverly Hills and when I walk around on my lunch break, I've started carrying my camera because the window displays have been very inspirational for design. Yesterday, I saw these beautiful shoes displayed on a fake fur pillow. Looked so elegant! They change the displays weekly it seems. That's a real art, I had no idea!
