Oh, Gratitude
some of what i'm thankful for...
a little sister who dresses up like a turkey and still manages to be
one of the cool kids in high school
a boy with ringlets who saw the same shooting star i did when neither
of us were looking
having the cajones to finally treat myself to my first self-bought
camera
eyeballs that heal miraculously fast
cats that snuggle in the morning
a savings account
having friends in exotic locales
a mom who supports me, despite my piles of stuff in her house and
carport
orange juice
my teenie photo community of peers and fans
wool socks
strangers' smiles
the way people run in the rain
highway rest stops
pumpkin pie
a boy who drove 17 hours twice in one week to rescue me
creativity
old friends
the UPS man
spontanaeity
lauren keeping me alive when i was in agony and driving me when i
couldn't drive and feeding me pain killers when i couldn't see the
bottles
cheese cubes
lauren buying me a surprise pro account!
pad thai
lauren's existence
windshield wipers
the brother's girlfriend saying yes when he proposed, phew
not burning my tongue on soup
arrested development

Thankful for a Thanksgiving Giggle... courtesy of Box of Light... even if her photos are so good they make me want to cry :)
Oh and like Cate... man am I thankful for the wee little piggies that sacrifice themselves for my pleasures of smoked ham holidays, prosciutto and bacon!

i personally am thankful for:
leftovers.
just barely living within driving distance of "home" so i don't have to deal with airports.
your eyesight.
kudzu and kelton, even though you aren't really following through with that whole joint custody thing and i never get to see them.
friends who actually come visit me when they say they will.
mommies.
actually knowing one of my favorite photographers in the world in person (i'm talking about you, by the way).
cookie dough ice cream.
clumsy puppies.
oh, and drewbic.
