Ice & snow

Ice & snow

The ice & snow storm that hit Tuesday & Wednesday has almost crippled the area. The ice coated the trees and when the snow hit, many trees cracked and huge limbs fell, knocking out electricity and stop lights, blocking roads and making life miserable. There are still approximately 75,000 people who are without power 4 days after the storm and it will be another week before all power is on. We are lucky that all our lines are underground, so we have heat & light. At times like these you appreciate the basics. Louisville KY Jan 2009
