On Saturday, February 27 Miami Workers
Center kicked off a campaign to protect
historic Black businesses in Liberty
City.
Commissioner Audrey Edmunson is pushing to tear down a city block along NW 7th Ave which will displace historic Black businesses, along with the MWC office.
The action was joined by a delegation of national and international activists in Miami for the Grassroots Global Justice Alliance Congress.
