I spotted Fran, camera in hand, wandering into Russell Square. She was with a friend and looking like she wasn't into having much of a chat, but she let me take several shots. I like the cool style in this one the best.

Roberto

Roberto was a complete character. He used to work as a concierge at Claridge's and has therefore met almost everyone. Royals, the Rat Pack, countless actors and actresses, politicians, you name it.

We had a nice chat for about fifteen minutes; he had some marvellous stories and (as you can hopefully tell from the shot above) he was a really cheery, smiley chap. His family are from near Luca in Italy, but he's lived in London all his live - more than seven decades.

What a marvellous character!
