    An open, circular window in an annex to Brazil's Ministry of Exterior Relations looks out into a garden of little yellow flowers.

    The main ministry building (Palácio Itamaraty) and the annex were both designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, who celebrates his 100th birthday today.
