At the "Fantastic Friday" event for Kaya's Y-Princess group, a animal rescue group brought some animals in, including this owl. Apparently it was hit and had it's wing damaged, but is now on the mend. My eight year old daughter was completely taken by this as she loves to watch the animal shows on tv at home.
Beautiful creature - the feathers were just amazing!

I couldn't help feeling a bit hurt inside because of the owl's injury; maybe that's because I listening to "Learning To Fly" on my ipod or because I've always had a soft spot for nature. Either way this picture came out simply stunning!
