      cool shot... What bar are you at? looks like you are somewhere around 2nd and Denny. Do you have a bottle top as a cap to your stem? Any other photos of that?

      the "bar" is the handlebars. I'm actually on my way to work, but just up the hill from Jillians (between there and Dexter).

      The stem cap is indeed a bottle cap.. I think this one is Sierra Nevada but I have a rotating selection. I also do some shellaced champagne corks when I'm in a festive holiday mood.

      I'll try to dig up some photos of those, but I should point out that this is one of those stem extenders. The top ahead tension bolt is actually inside the stem -- a typical top cap isn't required so it's easy to stuff a cork in there and keep the rain out. (the cap is just hot-glued onto a wine cork and press fit in).

      Thanks for the explanation on the stem cap. That is a cool idea. You should take a few photos of how you did that and make a small "How to" set... I've seen corks are bar ends, but not on a stem before. That is some good bike flair.
