Kila loving Lake Tahoe.....she is sitting on top of a boulder in the lake!

We have been away way too long. Crazy insane things have happened....like Kila's breeder is in jail. I met this woman....had many conversations about life and dogs, I don't know what happened to her. When I met her she seemed to really love her dogs. I am so sorry I have been away....I love spending time seeing all the wonderful photos on Flickr. I have had no free time lately due to family issues and Kila's family was in trouble.
16 dogs were taken into custody due to appalling conditions.....Kila's parents were among the 16. The first thing I told my husband was we need to go rescue Kila's parents.......I told Colleen if you have trouble placing Silly and Larry....we would take them.... With the help of my Mom, my sister Kathy and my friend Angela we bought about 260lbs of dog food to help the wonderful people who stepped up to help these beautiful dogs. This is a huge lesson...my poor husband wanted to surprise me with a baby Golden. He thought by going through a "breeder" he found in the newspaper....he would get a healthy puppy....he did not realize there are backyard breeders that might not be so great. With that said......my Kila is a healthy and happy girl.....what ever happens in the future we will be right by her side to love her as much as she loves us.....
