And the color show started...
The figures in silhouette are my daughter and 3yo grandson. The location is one of my favorite places, Breckinridge Pond, where so many of my nature photos are taken.
Not ONE single pixel alteration...the color is exactly the way it was.
Series begins here, at the "Calm Before the Big Hoorah"

nice!!! it is always nice to know that this is all natural - "Not ONE single pixel alteration...". I cant help wondering though - is the water edge really curved upwards? Or is that a lens effect?
Sparky2* 84 months ago | reply
Hi, Jeff - and thanks! Yes...the water edge IS curved at this particular area - don't ask me why/how!! I'm not sure if it's a natural pond or man-made; it's on a greenbelt nature preserve. As you can see from the other photos in the series there are several little "fingers" and inlets and we were standing at the edge of one, I think.

well thanks, Sparky2!! appreciated that answer to my question... :) And this just makes me appreciate the picture even more... There is a lot to take in here in this shot - the colours of the sky and clouds, the colour "structure" (for lack of a better word) of the clouds, the ripples and the reflection - and of course 2 silhouettes that just make it more personal...
And btw - great work for putting all this into a set for a nice slideshow!! ;)
