The Wall of Death is a fairground attraction which involves a large wooden cylindrical structure and some old motorcycles. In this case there were some old Indians, a Honda CB200 and a go-kart, amongst others. The vehicles and riders are horizontal as they fly round at break neck speed.

It's noisy, the whole thing shakes and is a real old-time experience, which is not to be missed if you ever get the chance.

At the end they have a whip round (as collections of money are called in the UK) for the riders on the basis that no insurance company will provide cover, and spectators are invited to throw money down into the arena. I've got a shot in my stream where one of them seems to have got hit on the head by a falling coin which may be worth a look if you get a chance as the expression on the girl's face is a classic.

I'm not sure if this stunt rider is about to star in the next show but she seems a little apprehensive.
