I found a quilt top today!
This 1930's log cabin feedsack quilt top was attached to a heavy comforter with a really bad thick floral 1980's border on it. I almost have it removed (they double stitched it!) Then I need to replace just a few pieces that are torn from where it was tied and then quilt it. This one's worth the restoration.

What a find treasure!!! It's really great looking and all the bright colors. I bet you had to contain yourself when you found it this morning.

I did have to contain myself, gg. I can't start jumping for joy until I get back to my car. There's one other lady at the swap meet that looks for the same kinds of things that I do and I beat her to it by just a minute or so. I was so happy!

This is making my heart skip beats! WOW!
I can see that the photo is not a new upload...did you finish giving it tlc? are you using it?

Unfortunately it's still sitting in the state it was in. I did remove all the border but that's as far as I got besides folding it and finding a chair back to hang it on so I can see it every day. One day I'll get around to finishing it.
