Good Morning, Friend
I met up with friend and fellow photographer Brant Nyberg last Saturday to check out the total lunar eclipse. While neither of us have the optimal equipment to shoot it we had fun trying and then capturing the wonderful sunrise on the shores of the (mostly frozen) Boysen Reservoir.

Ferris Mountains

As I was driving down to Rawlins on my way to give a talk on Wyoming Weather & Photography I stopped to take a couple photos of the Ferris Mountains. These mountains have some pretty unique geologic features that I hope to explore in the coming months!

Last week I was in Arkansas visiting family and had the opportunity to meet up with Charles Dalton who I met through flickr and who also works for the National Weather Service! This also happened to be the best sunset we had while we were on vacation. :-)
