The former Circuit City #3170, 2006 N. Prospect Avenue, Champaign, IL. Dark now for going on nine months.

I was a manager at this store from August 1996 to November 1997. In retrospect, I could have been a better manager and CC could have been a better employer. It wasn't a great match, and I spent a lot of long, unhappy days in this building.

But I also met and worked with some very cool people here, and I learned many things that have served me well in the years since.

Me and Dad...a pair of hedge clippers...and a severely overgrown forsythia bush. Why pay to have it done when you can do quality work like this yourself? :-)

(No, we didn't leave it like this. Just took the picture when it was looking it's most pathetic...)

And although my close friends are already well aware of this...that large red Chrysler in the background will be officially paid for in exactly five days.
