It might be hard to see from this image but the wind was hard straight into my face and the waves pounded on the rocks where I stood making me soaking wet. I had to turn around while the waves smashed the rocks in front of me to protect my gear (and my face) then turn around shooting 2 or three frames before my lens was too wet to be of any use. Then I'd be back to my car to wipe the seawater off the lens. Had to run like this back and forth about ten times until I got a decent image.

When I had finished shooting my car's battery was dead, probably because of the salt from the sea that had washed over it while I was shooting. Got back later tonight to get the car after the tide had run out.

The last few days have been snowy in Iceland. Hope your eyes don't bleed from all the contrast! ;)

Watched a broadcast of a concert I attended to last june in the tele last night. I had my camera wth me but photography was not allowed. I still got a few frames. :)

Sun does not rise high these days here in the north. I took a little walk around the Reykjavik harbour during lunch break.
