They Told Us They Fixed This

On the Adelaide-bound 7:51am train from Elizabeth this morning the doors at the left side, back of the carriage didn't close.

AdelaideMetro publicly announced they fixed this. I'm sending this into The Advertiser.

Awesome! Super air conditioning on Adelaide trains.

Apparently it used to be like that on the old "Red Hens", someone used to sit by the door and prop it open with their foot.

The old Red Hens had no air conditioning.

They were built in the 1920s and didn't go out of service until the last 1980s!

Considering the fact that these newer trains (the 3000 class) were only available in '87, will they be replaced in '47? Probably.

They won't last that long. I think they should bring back the old Red Hens. They were much more fun to travel on.

I liked it when it was raining and the rain came into the train through the open doors and run in a stream down the middle of the lino floored carriage.
