Our newest pack member, DJ, she is 13 weeks old and will get the tapes off her ears today. She is my little love, but she will soon be around 100 lbs.

We had no intention to add another pack member at this time since we already had 6 dogs, and had added 2 in 2011, first Bob who we adopted through Ratbone Rescue, he is an old Rat Terrier who is blind and around 14 years old. Then in November my husband's brother passed away and we ended up adopting his recently adopted Malti Poo Gracie, who is now Gracie Gray. She actually quickly bonded to our son Shane and she lives in his room with him and we only see her when we see him, she never leaves his side. But little DJ needed a home desperately and we already own her half sister, they have the same mom, DJ was purchased by the sister of a friend and she found out she needed to rehome her due to other things going on in her life, so through an amazing array of events she became ours. Sometimes you don't find the dogs in your life, sometimes they find you. This has happened to us many times, and we now have 7 fur kids, and one skin kid. Life is exciting for sure.
