A Fleeting Moment
An enjoyable morning spent skulking across the moor in search of mountain hares produced few photographic results, but quite happy with this. So many times I came so close to having a great image, only for my subject to take flight. There's always next time though!

Red Squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris)
Red Squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) at Formby. Quite a few more of the critters knocking about than when I was there last. Really tricky to get the whole body and the bushy tail in shot at the same time. Which is why I didn't.
