Great Shot. I love the smile of the woman in front

Thank you. I gave them a pleading expression to allow me to take their picture. I wanted to take additional shots but the woman in the back was hesitant. I'm thankful to get the shot I got.

Uau! You captured the feelings really well. Congratulations. I know is not easy to take pictures on the street.

I think you said, at one time, that you wanted get out there and shoot more. It's good to see you out there. Your photo is just great, especially in B&W.

Dcure, you're so right. I took the plunge yesterday. I basically used the excuse of taking pictures for a class. When I told people that, they agreed. I did get negative replies, but I had to keep in my mind what a fellow student recently told me: don't take it personally. If they say no, just move on.

And yes Sarabella1, taking street shots is a serious challenge. But I need to get over it. I need to learn to hang out there more and become a part of it. I think people can see when you're only there to take pics but never come there otherwise. Wish I actually lived downtown, for I think I would become more comfortable with asking folks to take their pics. I no longer like to take pics of homeless people because I feel like I'm taking advantage of them. I feel like I should at least get to know them before putting a camera in their face. That hasn't happened, so I avoid those pics.

Thanks all for your feedback. I really need it.

I like that they seem similar in a number of ways--their coats, their hair, some of their facial features--enough to think they might be sisters. Yet their response to you couldn't be more different. It's intriguing.

      this is a wonderful photo!
I dont feel bad about photographing homeless people if u talk to them and give them some money or buy them food or something there okay with it just say Im photographing the city and all its people and places which is what you are doing! a hard life puts character in a face and eyes. , it s something as an artist i cant ignor I also like to take photos of relgious people and thats more of a challange but since I dont like "posed " photos as a rule it works out fine for me as I use my zoom or shill or just shoot the photos as there walking around. Never had a problem
      good luck in the street
