Odeon Cinema - 18/P365

The old Odeon Cinema building on Angel Row in Nottingham.

The cinema, which originally opened as The Ritz in 1933, closed in 2001. One apparent claim to fame is that The Beatles played here in 1964!

Hard to imagine that this now drab monolithic block was once a place of entertainment.

I took a number of shots but chose this one as I like the image of the guy running past the shuttered frontage.

The usual thing - big flash Cineworld multiplex opened up in the town centre and I guess they couldn't compete.
