Wow...look at this one.
This was taken at a roadside attraction in California called Bibleland in Aug. 1989! Ouch. It was so freaking hot, all of my film from this day turned out foggy and distorted like this one...but I still like it.
Bibleland is gone, but this is what it was all about: Bibleland!
I composed the shot, positioned my friend, posed and then she took the photo.

thanks for the props...
about the shirt...I ordered this Polyster t-shirt directly from Edith Massey when the film first came out (waaaaay before I lived in Baltimore). She ran a little thrift store in Fells Point and towards the end, I think basically used it as a place to greet her fans. I no longer have the shirt but still have the autographed photo she sent me and the 45 of "Punks Get Off The Grass". The rest of the shirt was Divine and Tab Hunter in a heart...like the images on the Odorama cards.

...a roadside outsider art attraction near the Salton Sea. This has to be really close to where Bibleland was because we went to the Salton Sea on the same day as this photo was taken...now must find other Polaroids from the Salton Sea...
