Bob | Great Horned Owl from Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle

'Birds of Prey' talk given by Woodland Park Zoo at Edison Elementary School.

Bob was found covered in cuts and badly injured by hikers in Olympic National Park when he was young. Although he has now recovered, he can never be released into the wild as he has a damaged wing and cannot fly very well.

Woodland Park Zoo are sponsors of the Edison Bird Festival.

according to Go Skagit, these ladies are Jean Patterson (North Seattle) and Marla Habenicht (Maple Valley). apparently Jean made the caps in the car that morning, on the way to the Festival.
